Effective Date: 1st September, 2024

This website (the “Site”) is operated by www.resinfinesse.co.uk. “The company,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Resin Finesse. “You,” “the client,” “the customer,” and “your” refer to the individual or business that requests our services and enters into this contract. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of our services.

Resin Finesse is committed to providing top-notch service. By accepting an estimate from us or making a partial or full payment on an invoice, you enter into a binding contract with us.

We may amend these terms at any time, so please review this page periodically. These terms apply to all purchases and form the full contract between Resin Finesse and the client, in conjunction with any estimation or quotation provided. These terms do not override any statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Estimates, Acceptance, Orders, and Invoices

Estimates:
Estimates are provided via email to info@resinfinesse.co.uk and are a guide, subject to change. If additional works or materials are required, we will notify you before proceeding and issue an updated estimate. No extra work will begin without your approval and full payment.

Acceptance:
By accepting an estimate or quote, you are committing to the project. Acceptance converts the estimate into an invoice, and our payment details will be provided. If you cancel after acceptance, a 5% fee of the total invoice will apply. The terms are binding unless modified by written agreement from Resin Finesse.

Payment Terms:
Work will not begin, and materials will not be ordered, until full payment is received, unless otherwise agreed. For repeat customers or clients passing credit checks, we may offer a 3-stage payment structure. All goods remain the property of Resin Finesse until paid for in full.

Invoices:
Failure to pay on time may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1999, as well as recovery of costs and legal action. Unpaid debts after 30 days may be passed to a debt collection agency or result in a County Court Summons.

Contract:
The final quote serves as a written contract for the specified work. Verbal agreements are not binding unless included in the contract. Communication is strictly between Resin Finesse and the client unless written authorization is given.

Cancellations, Orders, and Fitting Dates

Cancellations:
Cancellations must be sent via email to info@resinfinesse.co.uk at least one week before the project start date. Late cancellations may incur fees, including a £250 administration fee or the cost of materials and labor. Custom materials are non-refundable and subject to a 30% restocking fee.

Fitting Dates:
To change a fitting date, notify us as soon as possible at info@resinfinesse.co.uk. Date changes within 7 days of installation may incur a £225 surcharge per man per day.

Orders:
Stock products can be canceled and returned within 14 days of delivery. Custom or bespoke products cannot be canceled once production has begun.

Carpets and Flooring:
Bespoke or cut-to-size flooring cannot be returned once production or cutting has started. Ensure all specifications are correct before confirming your order.

Delivery, Pre-Installation, and Floor Installation

Delivery:
Delivery staff may assist with bringing flooring inside, but Resin Finesse is not responsible for any damage during this process. Inspect your goods immediately upon delivery.

Pre-installation:
Ensure rooms are cleared of furniture and any existing flooring before installation. Skirting removal or non-clearance of the space may result in additional charges or delays.

Fitters:
Our fitters are not responsible for damage during the removal of old flooring or during installation. They will not move furniture or work alongside other tradesmen during installation.

Fixtures & Door Easing:
Door adjustments or fixture modifications may be required due to subfloor raising, but this is not part of our standard service and may incur additional costs.

Subfloor Preparation:
Additional subfloor preparation, including Damp Proof Membrane and screeding, will be outlined in the project details if required.

Post-Installation and Guarantee

Installation Guarantee:
Our services are guaranteed against defects for 24 months post-completion. Resin Finesse will address any issues promptly.

Product Warranty:
All products installed by Resin Finesse are guaranteed for 24 months. Misuse, moisture issues, or improper care voids this warranty.

Completion and Sign-Off:
The client or a representative must be present for final sign-off. If no one is available, it is assumed that the client is satisfied, and final payment is due. Overseas clients are allowed a 10-day period to confirm satisfaction.

Scratches and Damage:
Minor scratches or damage that may occur during the flooring installation process are the client’s responsibility to repair.

Damage Reporting:
Any damage or dissatisfaction must be reported within 24 hours. Resin Finesse will remedy any issues using our skilled team.

Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Complaints must be directed to our Customer Service Department via email at info@resinfinesse.co.uk. We will handle all disputes in accordance with our internal procedures and seek a fair resolution.
